I tried making Honey Umeboshi(Japanese apricot)
You can buy Honey Umeboshi at the store but it's expensive.
However, making umeboshi yourself isn't exactly cheap either, but you can
use your own ingredients which in turn will turn out better.
As such,I decided to try and make it.
I didn't add any Shiso(Japanese basil)as I figured it would make it sour.
I like things which both sweet and sour but not if it's only sour.
Since it turned out to be more sour than the store-sold Honey Umeboshi.
I said to my husband,"It's not sweet." I was surprised when he replied with, "Umebishi isn't sweet." Now I understand, Umeboshi is sour.^^;
